Session 1: Cross, Community, New Creation

Ephesians 2:1-18; Genesis 12:1-3; Isaiah 60:1-5, 10-12

Here we will explore Paul's dramatic rendering of the Gospel of Christ in Ephesians Chapter 2:1-11 and how the dramatic work of Christ on the Cross has established a new people in Christ that has fulfilled the promise made to Abraham and looks forward to its completion in Christ.

Session 2: The Church's One Foundation is Jesus Christ Her Lord

Ephesians 2:19-22; Exodus 40:18-21, 33-38; 2 Chronicles 6: 18-21; 32; 2 Chronicles 6:40 - 7:3

This session looks at Paul's understanding that Christ is the Cornerstone and Foundation of a new living temple that rests on the teaching of the Prophets and Apostles and is constantly established and renewed by the filling of His Spirit.

Session 3: Building as One Body

Ephesians 4:1-16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-31

In this session we will explore what it means for us to build God's church united as one body with Jesus Christ as our Head

Session 4: Building as One Family

Ephesians 1:5-6; Romans 8:14-17; Ephesians 4

In this session we will explore what it means for us to build God's church united as one family with God as our father and Jesus Christ as our brother.
